Il a dirigé pendant vingt-sept ans le service de cardiologie et urgences cardiovasculaires qu’il avait créé en 1977 à l’hôpital de Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Il est le co-auteur de plusieurs ouvrages de cardiologie, primés à trois reprises par l’Académie nationale de médecine et d’un livre intitulé Au fil des rues de Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
